Job Details: Summary: Directs the activities and resources of the department to ensure operational alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Job Responsibilities: Develops departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system. Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management. Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing; hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives. Prepares departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds. Coordinate and directs internal and externally-driven audits. Other duties as assigned. Education: Master's Degree. Experience: At least five years clinical and two years supervisory experience required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Physical Requirements: Requires extensive computer entry, sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC. Requires the ability to walk to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision and the ability to verbally communicate to employees and patients.
